We offer the very best here in St-Fabien-sur-mer. Construction 2010. Located on a private road, you will find peace and quiet when you are in our cottage staring looking down on the majestic estuary of the St Lawrence. Looking from any of the windows at the front of the cottage, you can admire the sea, the Isle of Bic and behind it, Ile Bicquette of which is a lighthouse that was once used for navigation . You can also, in the distance, contemplating the shores of the upper North Shore.
Now if you look through the rear window you will see the Pic Champlain that is part of Bic National Park. This peak is much frequented by several species of birds of prey such as osprey, falcons, buzzards, the turkey vulture, etc.. Several thousands of these birds are seen every year when they are in spring migration. It is common to see fly over the cottage in the wind or at chase. If you're lucky, you can see, foxes, partridges, deer and moose wander close to the cottage.
If you want to go at the seaside, you only have to borrow a walkway right in front of your cottage and after a short walk from 1 to 2 minutes, depending on your speed, you will be at the seaside
Here's what we offer.
This 4 season cottage is situated on a wooded area of 33,000 square feet and is backed at the National Park du Bic. It is compliant Novoclimat. It has an air exchanger that allows you to have a comfortable stay. For your peace of mind we have added a digital lock on the front door and an alarm system customized for each client. The codes are changed every week. Smoke detectors are installed in each room. The floors on all levels, are heated (radiant) and we have added a gas stove in the living room (under a cathedral ceiling covered with varnished pine paneling) to brighten coold evening.
Upstairs is the kitchen (fully equipped with cabinets, dishwasher and microwave, fridge, etc..). A dining room and lounge with views over the sea. A micro sound system (CD/MP3 player, iPod and radio) and a LCD TV monitor with DVD player are available in the lounge. (Note that due to the proximity of the mountain that cuts the air it is almost impossible to pick up a television station) The bathroom has a bath / shower and heated towel system as well as a washer and dryer. All floors in this level are covered pottery. Note that we also provide towels for your use exclusively in the cottage.
On the ground floor is a reading corner, and the two rooms that each has a patio door at ground level. They are furnished with a double bed (Queen), including all the necessary bedding, bedside tables and desk. Each has an alarm clock with docking station for an Iphone or Ipod. A bathroom is adjacent to the bedrooms.
If you come with a child, he may use the games for children (seasonal) situated overlooking the sea. You may go there by walking along the sea or by car, here in St-Fabien-sur-mer ( about 1.5 km from the cottage).
TERMS OF USE:
A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required when booking
This cottage is for the use of up to 4 people, in case of non-compliance with this condition, your lease will terminate immediately without any refund.
Family gatherings and parties are strictly prohibited.
No other facility can be added to the site ex: a trailer, tent trailer, tent, swimming pool, etc..
The cottage is strictly non-smoking and pets are prohibited.
